Public Art: In-The-Loop, Des Moines, Iowa

Playful circular forms created from re-purposed industrial and agricultural equipment, painted in blue-green tones, reflects the clients recycling mission while creating an urban edge in Des Moines' East Village.  The art also acts as a moveable gateway for special occasions and has moveable wheels and discs that invite viewers to touch and modify the art experience.  Is it an abacas, is it flashing Morse code, perhaps it’s binary code for a computer or maybe it’s just an interesting pattern of colors and shapes?
